Emirates Cup kicks off tomorrow

The Emirates Cup kicks off tomorrow at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium. Arsenal, Inter Milan, Valencia and Paris Saint Germain all take part in what promises to be an excellent tournament. The games are being covered live on Sky Sports. I am sure we will witness some great football from these four teams on both Saturday and Sunday. A great start to the season. Enjoy!!

Henry off the mark for Barcelona

It was bound to happen. Playing his first game for Barcelona against Dundee Thierry Henry scored and Barcelona won 1- 0. However I don't think all his games will be that easy!! The serious stuff begins soon with the start of La Liga. We will find out then how Henry fits in with the star studded Barcelona team.

Beckham in Los Angeles

Well its actually happened. David Beckham has made the move to Los Angeles to play for LA Galaxy. He will have his work cut out for him because I believe they are currently second from the bottom of their league. I am sure he is also being paid very well.

Sven at Man City?

Sven-Goran Eriksson has been officially appointed as the new manager of Manchester City. As Sven-Goran Eriksson used to be manager of England.
It seems now that he has signed a 3 year contract with Man City.

Tevez for Manchester United?

It is reported today that Carlos Tevez might sign for Man United on a two year loan. Tevez is a good midfielder that will add to Uniteds team however I wonder who will Ferguson leave out to play Tevez. All will be revealed when the new season kicks off.

Ljunberg on the move?

Fiorentina are set to make a £3m bid for Arsenal midfielder Freddie Ljungberg according to the BBC. I think Freddie is still good enough to be a gunner and I hope he stays with Arsenal as he has been one of Arsenal's best midfielders. One more season Freddie please!!!
